Prince George RCMP are currently investigating the city’s fourth homicide of 2023.
Just before 8:30 pm on April 1, RCMP responded to a report of medical distress on the 2200 block of Quince Street.
There, a man was found deceased.
Evidence collected determined the death was suspicious and the case was handed over to the Prince George serious crimes unit.
A death reported on March 7 was also found to be suspicious, and investigators have determined all 4 homicides are connected to drug-related sub-culture.
Despite that, police believe the perpetrators to be violent and are taking the matter seriously, partnering with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Units Uniformed Gang Enforcement Team to target the sub-culture.
Anyone with surveillance or dashcam footage of anyone going to or from the area between 8:15 and 8:45 pm on April 1, to contact the PG RCMP non emergency line at 250-561-3300.
