Five new units of affordable housing have now been completed for members of the Xwísten First Nation living in Bridge River.
Located at 130 Posphel Road, the new fiveplex will provide safe housing for community members at risk of experiencing homelessness.
$1.6 million in funding was provided for the project through the Federal Government’s Rapid Housing Initiative program.
Construction has now wrapped up, and residents have begun moving into their new homes.
