A pedestrian has passed away after being hit by a City-owned vehicle in Fort St John on Monday.
It was around 4:45 in the afternoon when a piece of snow-clearing equipment struck the man near the intersection of 100th Avenue and 99th Avenue.
Bystanders were already providing first aid to the unresponsive man by the time a BC Conservation Officer happened across the scene.
EHS were called on and had the man transported to hospital, where he would eventually succumb to his injuries.
RCMP are now looking to speak with anyone who may have been in the area, or has video footage of the area around the time of the incident.
