Work has wrapped up on a portion of the Coastal GasLink pipeline which has drawn recent criticism from opponents of the project.
CGL says that in-stream works at the Clore River Crossing are now complete, and regular flow of the river has been restored.
Both of those came after the groups claimed that CGL had failed to adequately control sediment during construction at the River.
CGL says regulators have inspected the site on numerous occasions since, and determined the work met the highest standards of environmental protection.
With the completion of the crossing, construction of the pipeline has now hit 81 percent, with overall progress surpassing 84 percent.
More issues arose along the pipeline route this week when anonymous claims of sabotage surfaced online.
In light of those claims, CGL says that the integrity of every pipeline segment and weld will be inspected and pressure tested to ensure safety.
