A suspect who stole a small arsenal of weapons from a Charlie Lake residence earlier this month probably wishes he left the video game console behind.
On February 7th, RCMP received reports of a residential break-in, which saw two shotguns, a pistol, a rifle, and a video game console stolen.
Police later received information which led them to obtain a search warrant for a home on the 9200 block of 93rd Avenue in Fort St John.
During the search, officers were able to locate the stolen console, before locating two of the shotguns on the property, as well as suspected illicit drugs.
Christopher Darryl Munch, who was under court orders prohibiting him from possessing any firearms, was arrested as a result.
He is now facing seven related charges, and is being held in custody to appear in court, though two of the stolen firearms are still missing.
Anyone with information which may help locate them is asked to contact Fort St John RCMP at 250 787 8100.
