Hypercharge Networks to Install New Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at a Pair of School District 52 Sites

School District 52 has partnered with a Vancouver-based company to bring two new electric vehicle charging stations to the Prince Rupert area.

Hypercharge Networks will provide the level 3 DC fast charging stations, with installation estimated to be completed by April.

One of the stations will be located in the lower parking lot of the Charles Hays Secondary School.

It will be used by employees during the school day, and available to the public after school hours.

Another station will be installed at the district’s maintenance building, primarily to service electric vehicles currently on order by the District.

But, it too will be available to the public after hours.
