Kitimat Dog Owners Reminded to Renew Licences by February 15th

Dog owners in Kitimat who haven’t done so already are running out of time to renew their licences.

In Kitimat, dog licences expire on December 31st of each year, and renewals or new licence purchases are due by February 15th.

Those looking to purchase their tags can do so at the District office in the City Centre Mall, or at the Community Humane Society at 1000 Eurocan Way.

Licences are $15 per year if your dog is spayed or neutered, $50 if they aren’t, $300 if they are considered dangerous, and $0 for a guide dog.

All dogs aged 4 months or older in Kitimat are required to be licenced.
