12 new facilities have been added to the Province’s $10-a-day Child Care Program, including three in the North.
That program reduces the cost of full-time, centre-based child care by an average of $800 per child each month.
Today, the province added 725 new spaces to the program, bringing the total to 12,700 province-wide.
Of the new spaces, a total of 118 are at the YMCA Lac Des Bois Care and Learning Centre in Prince George, serving a variety of age ranges.
16 multi-age spaces are being added at the YMCA Care and Learning Centre in Fort St James, and 8 infant and toddler spaces will be offered at the Elizabeth Fry Family Centre in Prince George.
You can find a full list of all spaces under the program at this link.
