A new makeover comes with a new name for the former Library at the College of New Caledonia.
As part of an effort to move away from the traditional library experience, theirs will now be known as the Learning Commons instead.
Accompanying renovations saw 50,000 physical materials removed and replaced with electronic content.
More than 200,000 e-books, videos, and podcasts have also been added, making information more accessible and easier to organize.
Fewer bookshelves will create more stufy space, which will be filled with study zones filled with modular seating for both individual and collaborative study.
Future plans will also see the Learning Commons and Academic Success Centre merged to create a seamless hand-off between tutors and librarians.
