Most of BC will be hit with another cold spell beginning this week, prompting several special weather statements from Environment Canada.
Several days of arctic outflow winds are expected in both coastal and inland sections of the North and Central Coasts, beginning Saturday.
They will be accompanied by a rapid drop in temperatures from above seasonal norms to well below.
Strong winds are expected to carry those conditions through the Bulkley Valley and Interior, resulting in temperatures of up to 20 degrees below norms.
Environment Canada does expect conditions to become more favourable late next week, and into February, though that could also change.
