Police believe that speed and alcohol may have played a role in a two-vehicle collision in McLeese Lake over the weekend.
Williams Lake RCMP were called to the intersection of Highway 97 and Macalister Road at around 8:00 in the evening on Saturday, for reports of the crash.
When they arrived, they found a tractor trailer laying on its side and a pick-up truck stuck in a nearby ditch.
Occupants were treated on-site for varying degrees of injuries by Emergency Health Services, with no severe injuries reported.
Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash, but believe both alcohol and speed to have been a factor.
If you have any information or dash cam footage which may assist in the investigation, you are asked to contact Williams Lake RCMP at 250 392 6211.
