District of Kitimat holding 8th annual business walk later this month

It was announced yesterday that the District of Kitimat is going to be holding their 8^th annual business walk later this month.

The reason for the walk is so the District can gather information about the successes and challenges of running a business in the community.

This walk has been a regular occurrence since 2015 and has been supported by the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce and this year’s edition will take place on November 15^th.

As for the results of last year’s walk, the District discovered that location and clientele are two more positive aspects about doing business in the community, and that revitalization and marketing support should be the two primary focuses of resources that can support these local businesses.
