A recent announcement has revealed that upcoming paving is going to be causing some traffic disruptions in Kitimat’s downtown area.
Starting tomorrow and lasting until September 27th, the southbound lane of Lahakas Boulevard between Albatross Avenue and Haisla Boulevard will be closed between 7 in the evening and 7 in the morning.
And while the work is ongoing, downtown will see traffic delays along Lahakas Boulevard, Wakashan Avenue, and areas of the Upper City Centre parking lot.
The District of Kitimat is thanking their residents for their patience while this construction is ongoing as well as reminding them to drive safe.
