Fort St John RCMP have launched an arson investigation into a suspicious vehicle fire from last weekend.
At around 11:00 Sunday morning, police were called on to assist fire crews with a vehicle fire at North Peace Secondary School.
When crews arrived on scene, they found the vehicle to be locked inside a compound, but were able to gain access and extinguish the blaze.
While the vehicle suffered from extensive damage to the interior, no other damages or injuries were reported.
Officers say they are launching the arson investigation to follow up on credible leads they received.
