New Rebate Program in Kitimat Helps Fund the Removal of Derelict Buildings

A new rebate program offered by the District of Kitimat will help property owners to remove derelict or vacant Service Centre buildings.

Through that program, property owners can apply to have 30 percent of the costs to demolish a Service Centre building covered, up to $50,000.

Administered by the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce, the initiative is funded by the District.
