Nisga’a members will have a chance to share their views on the proposed Ksi Lisims LNG project over the next week and a half.
Planned for Pearse Island, west of Gingolx, the project would see an annual capacity of 12 million tonnes of LNG.
Now, the project’s three proponents, which includes the Nisga’a Nation, are looking to gather feedback on the proposal via a survey.
Conducting the survey is a requirement of the Nisga’a Final Agreement, and results will be included in the project’s environmental assessment, which they plan to file next year.
Those who complete the survey will be entered into a draw to win a 75 inch Samsung TV, iPhone 13, or one of 5 $100 gift cards.
You can find the survey at this link, or call 250 975 1685 to set up an appointment to complete it.
More information on the project is also available at this link.
