Last Friday at around 2 in the afternoon, Prince George RCMP members found a black Honda Civic that had stolen license plates.
After the vehicle was able to evade a Police traffic stop, it made its way down a dead end street and as a result, Police were able to successfully deploy and hit the car’s tires with a spike trap.
However, the car was still travelling on it’s wrecked tires and was able to make its way to a commercial parking lot at the 5000-block of Domano Boulevard.
When the car was no longer operational, Police were finally able to apprehend the suspect, who was later identified as 45-year-old Gordon Peltz, a man that was previously known to Police for similar offenses.
The BC Prosecution Service approved the charges of fleeing from police, resisting arrest, refusal to comply with demand and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle against Peltz and he will remain in custody until his next court appearance.
