Fort St John RCMP received a call on July 9th at around 2 in the morning about a break in at the city’s 7315 100th Avenue CO-OP location.
The two suspects who conducted the break in had disappeared by the time Police arrived on scene.
The thieves broke a window for their entry point and stole two safes, one of them by using a hydraulic device, as well as some cigarettes.
Police were able to locate one of the suspect vehicles, a 1977 flatbed GMC 3500 pickup truck that got stolen earlier that night from Prostreet Automotive.
Police were also to find one of the safes and parts of the other one, no word on if the contents were found.
