A trio of suspected are now facing several charges after a Quesnel-based crime spree that would make a kleptomaniac’s mouth water.
According to police, the group had been driving around in a stolen vehicle, fitted with stolen plates, stealing from several local businesses along the way.
RCMP finally apprehended the group on the 800 block of Rita Road at around 1:00 Wednesday afternoon, finding a haul of stolen goods in their possession.
Police have since identified the origins of a number of the nicked items, and are working to see them returned to the businesses.
A 34 year-old man, 48 year-old woman, and 29 year-old woman, are now facing several charges related to the thefts.
Businesses who may have been hit, as well as anyone with additional information, is asked to contact Quesnel RCMP at 250 992 9211.
