Charges have been approved against a group of gang members after they attacked a man in April.
On the morning of April 22nd, a group from the gang calling themselves the “Crazy Indian Nomads” confronted and chased down the victim.
Prince Rupert RCMP obtained security footage of the attack which followed, which saw the group surround and punch and kick the man while he was on the ground.
One of the gang members was seen standing over the man, wielding a collapsible baton as intimidation while the others beat him.
Another was seen wearing weighted gloves as he threw several punches at the vulnerable victim.
While the victim chose not to press charges, RCMP forwarded charges against the assailants to the Prosecution Service anyway.
Charges of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and more related charges have now been approved.
