Youth in the Northeast will have increased access to mental health and substance-use supports, thanks to a new Foundry Centre coming to Fort St John.
Operated by the Fort St John Friendship Society, the new Centre will join Terrace and Prince George as the third such centre in the North.
In addition to mental health and substance-use supports, the Centre will also provide drop-in counselling, physical and sexual health care, family peer support services, and social services to those aged 12 to 24.
In addition to Centres announced for Burns Lake and Williams Lake, the province plans to announce 3 more locations in the coming months.
