A majority of the parks in BC are going to be open for the long weekend, according to the Provincial Government.
Even some of the parks that got seriously damaged by last year’s extreme weather events, like the heatwave and the floods, are open to the public again.
Ever since the end of March, which is when the government decided to launch a new web system for people to book camping reservations on, BC has seen over 102,000 reservations booked.
All of the parks within Northern BC are expected to be fully open baring some unforeseen issue.
