100 Mile House RCMP are investigating an assault caught on camera on Tuesday.
A video of the incident, which occurred in Centennial Park, was first shared with police by Peter Skene Ogden Secondary School.
In the video, the suspect approaches the victim and begins punching them, seemingly without reason, before the victim fell to the ground and the assault continued.
A number of witnesses were also seen in the video, and officers say they have located the victim, who is cooperating with the investigation.
Police say the 19-year old male suspect is known to them, and that they are encouraging his to share his side of the story.
Anyone witnesses of the attack, or those who may have relevant information are asked to contact 100 Mile RCMP at 250 395 2456.
