Four newly appointed Principals were announced yesterday by School District 27 in a news release.
Ty Lytton will take over as Principal at Forest Grove Elementary after previously serving as Principal at Horse Lake Elementary ever since 2017.
Kelly Glen, who started as a member of School District 27 back in 2007, will become Principal at Marie Sharpe Elementary, after most recently being the Vice Principal of Cataline Elementary.
Ken Matieshen, who’s been with the District since 1996, is becoming the head Principal of GROW, a school where he has worked at before but at that time, he was its Vice Principal.
And finally, David Corbett is set to become the District Principal for the Trades and Career Programs at the district’s secondary school campuses, he has been with the District since his career started back in 1987.
The new Principals will officially move into their new positions on August 1st.
