According to the Cariboo Regional District’s director for Electoral Area A, Mary Sjostrom, another road in the Quesnel area may be getting new traffic lights.
This proposition comes about a year after 23 new lights were installed on Maple Drive and this time, the lights would be for Gook road, between Highway 97 and Dragon Estates.
Sjostrom also mentioned that several residents came to her directly asking for more lights to be installed, which was not a surprise to her.
As far as how much this project would cost, that will be discussed at a later date between officials and residents.
