Prince George RCMP are investigating their second case of stranger on stranger sexual assault in as many months.
According to the victim’s report, this most recent incident occurred at around 10:30 Tuesday night.
She had been walking in the area of Monterey Road West and the Hart Highway when a man approached her and asked for some information.
He then proceeded to move behind her and grope her, before fleeing the area on foot.
He is described as a 35 to 40 year-old Caucasian man, with a thin build and a beard, who was wearing a toque and grey hoodie at the time.
Police do not believe the incident to be related to a similar case from last month, which took place during an open house.
They are requesting anyone who may have information or dash cam footage of the area between 10:00 and 11:00 to contact them at 250 561 3300.
