A small group of Tsilqhot’in members will be among more than 2,000 Indigenous delegates from around the world visiting New York next week.
They will be attending the United Nations forum on Indigenous Peoples, which will run from April 25th to May 6th.
It will be the 21st session of the forum, and will focus on Indigenous peoples, business, autonomy and the human rights principles of due diligence including free, prior and informed consent.
