Earlier today, Quesnel mayor Bob Simpson sent out a letter reminding residents to be patient when it comes to BC’s remaining health orders.
He said that he understood why people were celebrating the return of dancing as public health restrictions were slowly being lifted throughout the province.
But Simpson also mentioned that the only person that can lift the remaining public health orders is the provincial health officer and that another wave of COVID is the last thing needed right now.
He ended off his letter by saying that we’re almost done with the restrictions and that everyone needs to be considerate of the emotional health of others as we look to get through the final days of restrictions.
