British Columbia is reporting 799 new cases of Covid-19, as of last night.
Of the new cases, 214 come from Northern Health, while 280 are from the Interior.
There are currently 653 Covid hospitalizations, province-wide, with 108 in ICU.
One new death was reported in both the province, and the North.
There are currently 29 active outbreaks at health care facilities across the province, with the furthest north being at the Williams Lake Seniors Village.
Indigenous Services Canada also released their newest report on how COVID is impacting Indigenous communities earlier today.
As of today, there have been 84,386 confirmed COVID cases in First Nations communities, with 3,402 active cases.
There have also been a total of 2,961 hospitalizations since the pandemic started, and 652 deaths reported.
Across the country, First Nations communities saw a 13.6 percent decrease in new cases.
A little over 87 percent of people 12 and older living in First Nations, Inuit, and territorial communities have gotten two vaccinations.
