A Prince George nightclub has been shut down for ignoring provincial health orders, for a second time.
This most recent closure comes even after the province loosened most restrictions, only keeping the mask and vaccination requirements.
But, the Lambda Cabaret nightclub has a history of defying pandemic mandates.
On February 9th, Northern Health ordered the nightclub closed after they fully re-opened, despite mandates still barring nightclubs from opening at the time.
When restrictions lifted last week, however, the order to close the nightclub was rescinded.
But that didn’t last for long either as Northern Health has now ordered another closure after the club openly opposed mask and vaccine mandates.
A sign posted on the front of the club stated that they would not be following vaccine card or mask mandates, under a “public notice” header.
