Food Service and Support Workers at Kemano Staff House Unanimously Vote to Ratify New Agreement

Food service and support workers at a workers camp in Kemano have voted to ratify a new collective agreement.

100 percent of employees for Compass ESS working at the Kemano Staff House voted yes to the agreement.

Under the new agreement, culinary and housekeeping employees will now be earning the highest wages in BC for camp workers.

In addition, the new agreement acknowledges Truth and Reconciliation Day on September 30th as a paid stat holiday.
