RCMP in Chetwynd are looking for information on a man who robbed a local bank at gunpoint on Friday.
At around 8:40 Friday morning, police were called out to the Scotia Bank on 50th Avenue for reports of a robbery.
According to surveillance footage, a man wearing a grey hoodie, black beanie, and white buff around his face, entered the bank with a carbine-type firearm prior to police arrival.
He placed a grey duffel bag in the doorway to hold open the second door, before allegedly asking the teller to fill a camouflaged backpack with money.
He was able to escape the bank before police could be called.
He is described as a 6 foot tall Caucasian man, with a medium build and a belly, and you can find pictures below.
