February 7th Covid-19 Update

British Columbia is reporting 1,799 new cases of Covid-19, as of Friday night.

That brings the province’s active case total to 25,479, with 946 in hospital, and 139 in ICU.

Of the new cases, 191 come from Northern Health, while 531 are from the Interior.

19 new deaths have been reported, with two in the North, and none in the Interior.

There are currently 58 reported outbreaks at health care facilities province-wide, though none are in the North.
