January 31st Covid-19 Update

British Columbia is reporting 2,137 new cases of Covid-19, as of Friday night.

That brings the province’s active case total to 30,515, with 990 in hospital, and 141 in ICU.

Of the new cases, 170 come from Northern Health, while 569 are from the Interior.

Nine new deaths have been reported, with one in Northern Health, and none in the Interior.

There are currently 58 active outbreaks at health care facilities in BC, though none come from Northern Health.
