January 28th Covid-19 Update

British Columbia is reporting 2,033 new cases of Covid-19, as of last night.

That puts the province’s active case total at 29,556, with 977 in hospital, and 141 in ICU.

Of the new cases, 165 come from Northern Health, while 539 are from the Interior.

13 new deaths have been reported, with one in the Interior, and none in the North.

An outbreak at the Kelowna General Hospital brings the province’s active outbreak total to 62.
