January 24th Covid-19 Update

British Columbia is reporting 2,364 new cases of Covid-19, as of Friday night.

That brings the province’s active case total to 33,997, with 924 in hospital, and 130 in ICU.

Of the new cases, 190 come from Northern Health, while 655 are from the Interior.

There have been nine new deaths reported, with none in either the North or the Interior.

There are currently 62 active outbreaks across the province, though none of those are in Northern Health.
