British Columbia is reporting 5,625 new cases of Covid-19 over the three days between Friday and Sunday.
That works out to an average of 1,875 new cases per day.
It brings the province’s active case total to 35,985, with 819 in hospital and 99 in ICU.
Of the new cases, 556 are from Northern Health, while 1,345 are from the Interior.
22 new deaths were reported, with none in the North, and four in the Interior.
8 new outbreaks, including one in the Interior in Vernon, bring the province’s active total to 50.
Current provincial health orders had been set to expire this morning, but were extended until a Dr Bonnie Henry briefing regarding new restrictions at 1:30.
