Update: Nearly 400 Residents Around Stewart Without Power After Two Outages Hit

Nearly 400 residents of Stewart and the surrounding area still find themselves without power, after a tree took out some power lines.

According to BC Hydro, power went down for 388 residents of the area at around 4:30 yesterday afternoon, and remains out today.

Hydro crews had been set to have power restored last night, but a second outage had other plans.

Crews are now on-site working to repair the lines, and are now estimating power to be back at around 5:00.
