Power has been restored to nearly 1,300 BC Hydro customers of Williams Lake, after a collision took out a power pole this morning.
Just after 2:00 this morning, a vehicle travelling on Highway 20, near Bond Lake Road, collided with a hydro pole.
RCMP say the driver suffered injuries as a result, but did not reveal specifics.
The collision had left 1,251 residents in the Central Cariboo between Willams Lake and just passed Tatla Lake without power.
Crews worked through the morning to repair the damage, and by 10:30, power was restored to all effected residents.
