January 11th Covid-19 Update

British Columbia is reporting 6,966 new cases of Covid-19 over the three day period between Friday and Sunday.

That brings the province’s active case total to 34,551, with 431 in hospital, and 95 in ICU.

Of the new cases, 584 are from Northern Health, while 1,393 come from the Interior.

Seven new deaths were reported, with one in the North, and none in the Interior.

There are now 43 active outbreaks in the province, with the vast majority coming from Fraser Health, and none in the North.
