In-person BC court dates being postponed

Both the BC Supreme Court and provincial courts will be postponing most in-person court appearances planned for this week.

All in-person civil and family trials scheduled for between today and Friday have been postponed.

Anyone with in-person criminal proceedings and trials is being asked to call, or have their lawyer call the Court at the time of their proceeding to arrange a new time.

For criminal trials for those already in custody, proceedings will go ahead as scheduled, on the judgement of the Judge at the time.

All scheduled virtual hearings will proceed as planned.
