For the first time in 16 years, the Quesnel School District will have a new Superintendent in 2022.
Outgoing Super Sue-Ellen Miller’s time in charge was celebrated last night, during the District’s final Board meeting of the year.
Many Trustees stood to give powerful speeches regarding Miller’s tireless work ethic, dedication, and commitment to the students.
Dan Lowndes, who will take over for Miller as Superintendent also lauded her time with the title, saying it’s an exciting time for both of them.
Outgoing Principal of Aboriginal Education, Patty Kimpton was also honoured, though she could not be in attendance.
