Members of the Dawson Creek Chamber of Commerce are calling for Health Minister Adrian Dix to launch a review in to Northern Health’s services.
Specifically, the Chamber takes issue with the on-going staffing issues that have plagued the North since well before Covid.
They say the Ministry needs to look in to improving Health Care infrastructure and staffing before investing massive sums in to a new hospital.
A request for an audit in to Northern Health was submitted to the Ministry in June, which had been acknowledged by Dix, though little action has been taken since.
