An official at the BC river forecast centre has sent out a statement saying that the weather in BC should become a lot drier during the weekend.
David Campbell stated that river levels will be rising due to the snow melting as well as some rain but other than that, conditions should improve quite a bit.
He also said that areas located on the central and south coast will finally be getting a break from the rather challenging weather that they were dealing with for quite a bit.
The final thing that Campbell stated was that people should do what they could avoid fast flowing rivers as well as potentially unsafe riverbanks, just to be safe.
