Covid restrictions which had been in place in Northern Health east of Kitwanga will now cover the entire Health Authority.
That means social gatherings will be limited to 10 people indoors, and 25 outdoors, even as far west as Prince Rupert, and even Haida Gwaii.
With vaccine card mandates in place, public outdoor events with more than 25 attendees can run at 50 percent capacity.
Seated indoor public events can run at 50 percent of seated capacity as well, with similar vaccine card mandates.
In-person worship services, bars, and nightclubs, will be closed to the public, and liquor sales must cease after 10:00 at night.
A full list of the new restrictions can be found at this link.
According to Dr Bonnie Henry, additional restrictions introduced in Interior Health will be repealed tonight, but those in the North will remain in place until at least January 31st.
