One individual is in hospital following an incident at a Williams Lake residence well-known to police from yesterday.
RCMP were called out to the 600 block of Winger Road in the late morning following reports of a possible shooting.
When they arrived, they found a man suffering from injuries consistent with a gun shot wound, and had him transferred to hospital.
They then launched an investigation in to the events, but have received little assistance from witnesses or locals.
Police say the residence is well-known to them and has been the site of multiple firearms-related investigations in the past.
Officers say several individuals were at the property at the time, and that neither they nor the victim are fully cooperating with the investigation.
