Residents of Northern BC do not need to rush to the grocery stores or enter hoarding mode.
While treacherous weather and road closures have impacted supply chains in the South, those issues are not expected to impact the North.
Supply chains for the North run from Alberta through Prince George, and then on to Terrace, and while roads may be slippery, they are clear.
But that hasn’t stopped residents from rushing to the grocery store to purchase supplies for the longhaul.
Unless the devastation being seen in the south manages to stretch further north, residents should not be worried about running out of goods any time soon.
