As the South continues to see mass evacuations, extreme weather events, and road closures, BC has declared a state of emergency.
A number of roads in the south have been completely upended by slews of landslides, floods, and washouts, over the past few days.
This morning, the Federal government agreed to send air force personnel to help deal with the aftermath of the floods.
As of this moment, nearly 18 thousand residents have been evacuated, while another 10 thousand find themselves under evacuation alerts or orders.
