Two out of three RCMP officers on trial in relation to a 2016 incident in Prince George have had their charges stayed.
While the trial had already begun, the Crown says that, after reviewing evidence, they determined it was no longer appropriate to continue the proceedings.
The officers were charged in relation to a back alley arrest which followed a chase after two men had stolen a truck.
The violent arrest which followed was caught on camera by a security camera.
One of the officers, Constable Joshua Grafton, remains under trial in Prince George.
He faces charges of assault, assault with a weapon, and obstruction.
