Rural and remote communities in BC will soon have access to better internet and cellular services.
This weekend, CityWest began installing it’s more than 3 thousand kilometre under ocean fibre line between Vancouver and Haida Gwaii.
The 45 million dollar project is funded by the Federal and Provincial Governments, and will bring higher internet speeds to the Northcoast, and numerous remote communities.
The project aims to wrap up by mid-2023.
